  Homemade Lasagne and what else… Italian Super Tuscan, this time 100% Merlot.
  
  Prior tasting notes are spot on and my prediction that the edgy tannins will melt in two years luckily too🤗🤗🤗
  
  Without food the wine is fairly rich, but with food it is sublime.

  Opened 3 hours before pouring- not decanted, which ended up being an error given the large amounts of sediment in the final pours. Nose was immediately aromatic, developed and balsamic. Full of interest. Mouth was graphite mineral driven merlot typicity, fine by itself, far better with the slow cooked lamb. I enjoyed this fully and so did the table.

  Med garnet color, plenty of cherry, green herbs, spice box notes. Tannins are resolved, plenty of acidic bite, finishes med plus length, lighter in mouth. Drink soon.
