  • Nice gold color

Nose is lightly floral with orange, peach, honey, lemon sherbet, a thin thread of salinity with the calm touch of age by way of transforming sugar.

Minimal acid on the palate with the most concentration appearing on the finish with oak spice, vanilla, lemon. Finish is subdued but long. Drink it if you've got it.

  • Nose: There is a pristine and clean quality to the nose with sea salt, saline, white florals, apples, and some pears. There is excellent depth here with a breeziness behind the tones.

Taste: Medium bodied with medium/high acidity. The acidity has a more refreshing quality to it with sea salt, saline notes, white florals, and apples.

Overall: This was the best of the Amiots. I really enjoyed its laid back and friendly style. It is very enjoyable right now, but there is certainly stuffing for more growth.

  • Burgundy Tasting at Chevalier Wines: A lot of large stones on the palate. Seems to be a bit light on the concentration again, but this has a bit of stone fruit on top of the pear notes. However, the oak is starting to show a little bit here... and I'm not a huge fan of that at all.
