This wine has also considerably improved since I first tasted it at the winery about 16 months ago. This is a Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, aged for 10 months in French and American oak barrels. Dark purple in color with on the nose loads of black fruits, wet earth, spice, vanilla, pipe tobacco as well as a hint of barnyard funk. Medium to full-bodied (leaning to full) with on the palate ripe, juicy cassis and blackberries, licorice, loamy dirt, graphite and charcoal with notes of oriental spices, green pepper and pipe tobacco with medium-plus acidity and almost chewy tannins as well as rich dark chocolate on the long finish. Very nice! 14% Abv.

Fri Dinner at Esti & Moshe Tishler (at Esti & Moshe Tishler): transparent violet fresh red plums with vanilla-oak notes full bodied, high acidity, firm tannins, rich plums flavors, some spicy-tobacco subtle flavors with lot of oak-vanilla, rich med finish. May improve within 1-2 years of further ageing, but will remain rustic daily wine with no pretensions.
