Purchased upon release and cellared under pristine conditions, this bottle was uncorked and poured, requiring minimal aeration in order to fully strut its stuff. Medium red/garnet in color at this point, it delivers a package of Montmorency cherries, red bramble fruits, mulling spices, cocoa, cola and black tea. Fresh and without alcoholic heat (despite being listed as 14.8%), it retains excellent mid-palate density, wrapping the fruit with proportionate oak and plentiful silky-textured tannins. Layered and long on the back end, this Pinot is classic in quality and should continue to show well over the next 3-4 years (possibly longer). Drink now-2026.

Loads of dark red fruit, classic but uninspiring. Will hold but likely won't evolve.

Very nice PN. Could have gone higher on score but just lacks some of the depth from similar vintage Noerthern CA Pinots we are drinking now
