Heading into what will be a period of asceticism on my part, so going out with a nice meal of oxtail stew and this wine. Good match. This has some heft, soft tannins, chocolatey in a good way, but not too much so. It's a wine I could serve to any cab lover blended with some other Bord varieties. I get these as part of my Rockpile Zin membership, but the good news is even these (kind of pricey) filler bottles are delicious.

Clear, light garnet. Tar, anise, raspberry. Low acids, no tannins. Chocolate. Short balanced finish
