Reserve Wine Bar at Grand Sierra Resort, Reno: Aromas of crushed flowers, mesquite smoke, plum fruit and spices. Primary and secondary flavors on the palate, good overall flavor development with light structure and density. Medium acid, fine tannins. Very nice.

Popped and poured, intense tinned blackberry juice, liquorice aromas. The flavour has good concentration, blackberry, quite robust tannins, spice and pepper on the finish. Very nice.

Very good, fairly humble Crozes, classic rhone syrah nose, slightly peppery with a touch of fat. Had a decent decant, but still very tannic and drying on the palate, probably needs a year or two to settle down, or drink with rich food. Certainly a lot of potential for a relatively "entry level" wine.

Again another wonderful from this producer, soft and elegant, opens up slightly, but keep flavour and tannins.
