While having some burgundy color to the wine, the color was dominated by brown. The wine's nose was pepper, fig and a strange sweet note we could nit identify. While the wine was not completely bad, it had turned enough to make it not drinkable. I tasted again the next day and there was a strong ammonia taste.

Classic aromas of blood, rust and forest fruit. Medium body, fleshy, a bit on the rustic side. Smooth tannins. Not very intense. Average Crozes, yet good.

This ain't your granddaddy's shiraz! White pepper, funk, rancid bacon, a touch of red berries and some citric acid. Not my typical Syrah but intriguing.....

My last and best bottle. This one had nice fruit and pepper left, the other 3 bottles were all on their way down.

Dark purple. Candy, forest fruit and meat on the nose. Medium body, smooth, rather high acidity. The fruit is fading out on this one now.
