  • Burgundy color with a brown rim. Decayed bouquet on first opening giving way to dark cherries with a hint of bitterness. Very little in the way of nuance, depth, power, finesse, or length, but with enough balance and flavor to save it. What can I say: another overrated Burgundy, but at least better than most. Next to the Kosta Brown Pinot Noir that I had a few days later, it was a pale but expensive shadow.
