  • I approached this with some trepidation, because a previous bottle, which I opened last week, tasted a bit off. Once again, this cork appeared to be saturated, but thankfully the wine was in excellent shape (in contrast with my experience last week).

This is a pale yellow or straw colored wine. Light bodied, not at all viscous. Really fun fragrant bouquet, buttered toast, honeysuckle, cantaloupe. There is a bit of effervescence to this on the tip of the tongue. On the palate green apples and citrus fruit dominate. The acid finish is refreshing, along with some almond notes on the backdrop. Very complex, balanced, and tasty.

  • This cork was entirely saturated, the wine was dark yellow. Sadly this was past it prime, almost undrinkable.
