Lovely nose - yellow stone fruit, herbs, crushed stones, hints of floral notes. On the palate dense and concentration but also very vibrant and mineral, almost saline. There is a lovely coolness which goes well with the ripe fruit. Very fresh and persistent. 93-94+

Vanilla, peaches and white flowers and not immediately Riesling springs to mind. Round, broad, clean and fresh from a very good acidity. I like this. 93-94p

Flavoursome wine but I am slightly disappointed. It's a bit ginger beer like. Strong flavoured, which makes it seem a bit blowsy in spite of the acid in the background. I wouldn't want to cellar this for longer... personal preference, I prefer more fine, pretty, pure riesling.

Light yellow. Quite tart at first, but as it warmed, lemony with a thread of green herbs. Elegant weight and feel, not nearly as dense and overpowering as some Smaragds can be. Excellent and not nearly mature.

Serious, compact, intense, austere. Streaked with lime and destined for the long haul. Impressive but as yet monolithic
