Drinking superbly in its drinking window. Blackberry, ut with a hint of red fruits, delicate oak and lavender. First thing that hits you are the soft smooth tannins, then soft fruits, a little spice and long fruity finish. 90 points

A little lavender and violets, with red plums and blackberries, some earthiness and oak spice. Palate is gentle and smooth, with blackberries, blackcurrants and red currants. There's a lovely fresh acidity that balances those fruits. This is top notch stuff and so glad I've another 5 bottles left. Well worth seeking out to #giveanewwineago #burgundynick £28 @laywheeler on first release now its double that 89 points

Rich, appealing nose, very fruit forward, capturing a large spectrum of red fruit, all the way from strawberry to black currant. Would not take it for Syrah blind, missing the more animalistic traits. On the palate somewhat light, clearly more fruit than oak and tannins. Fairly high acidity, the fruit and the acidity presents a nice complexity that elevates the wine and makes it interesting, but also not here what I would normally expect from a North Rhone Syrah.
