Elegant red berry fruit and subtle cocoa. Drinking very well now but can go longer. Initially used Coravin for tasting then poured glass with Coravin aerator then uncorked 3 days later to enjoy again. Currently tasting several 2012 Honig single Vinyard Cabernets and this is among the top. Right now, this St Helena sourced fruit is more approachable than their Rutherford and Oak Knoll wines. All 2012s however are very good.

Opened and perhaps may need to agree with my notes from last year. Seems closed but very balanced. Taking my advise to let sit. No score for now. Will report back later tonight

Just had this. Opened and let sit for 6 hours and was shocked at how the fruit came out of a closed initial tasting. Ripe berries and some tobacco leaf make this quite enjoyable. Not anywhere near declining on my bottle.

This is approaching the end of its drinking window IMO. The fruit is really beginning to drop off. It is very enjoyable but has lost whatever power it started life with. It is now a soft, foodie wine, very nice but probably not worth the original price point.
