NobleRottersSydney - Partner's Dinner (Tetsuya's, Kent St, Sydney): A mid red, with some brick tints. Aromas of stewed cherries and a vegetal earthy farmyard. Actually I was surprised how much like a Yarra Valley pinot this smelt. A very light-bodied, quite acidic wine, of medium length. Somehow I was expecting more, but overall just average. The spatchcock could have handled a less diffuse wine, I think.
