Red fruit and the minerality from the terrior dance beautifully together here. The texture is wonderful here. The wine is going strong at age twelve. Very enjoyable.

My last bottle of an assortment of 24 or so 2005 Burgundies purchased on release.
This one is still going strong at 15 years of age. So much so that after the first taste I decided to decant it.
Tasty, with fruit and forest floor in good balance.
This will pair well with rib roast tonight if we don’t finish it before the roast is ready.

This was a bigger wine than i had expected. Dark crimson in colour. Good flavour and soft tannins.

2nd bottle opened on trip. Enjoyed with Rick before and after our dinner out. Overall very nice, but not as balanced on the finish as I was hoping.

Pretty, fruit-driven and well balanced. Opened and poured. It's ready now.
