  • Classic rich nose with ceder and blue berries. Dark cherries and blackberries on the palette. Nice acidity and still quite harsh tannins. A bit thin and lacks concentration.

  • Deep ruby colour. Medium and developing nose with blackberry, dark plum, blackcurrant, blueberry, vanilla, black pepper, cinnamon, leather, clove, tobacco, licorice and prune. Medium taste of blackcurrant, black plum, red plum, forest floor, earthy, leather, tobacco, black pepper, licorice and prune. Long and dry finish. Medium acidity. Medium tannins. Medium body. A very good Medoc that has matured well and feel slimmer than other Bordeauxs. Drink now or over the next couple of years. Beef or lamb.

  • First of two bottles. Dark garnet, clear. Aromas of dark fruit, oak, red fruit. On the palate, sweet fruit and spice. Full bodied, XD, medium tannin, M+ acidity, short finish. Overall, pleasant enough, but nothing special -- will hold my second bottle for a few more years to see if it improves.

  • Fruit was quite bright and lively right out of the bottle. Nothing very serious but well balanced and good value.

Medium taste of dark plums, blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, tobacco, vanilla and leather. Medium long and dry finish. Medium acidity. Medium tannins. Medium body. A fresh and rough young Haut-Médoc that should be drunken now. Goes well with beef, duck or lamb.
