Beautiful wine. No one could believe this wine is 13 years old. Has a long life ahead of it. Tasted next to '06 Archery Summit a Renegade Ridge, '06 Thomas, and '07 Thomas. Eyrie was the unanimous wine of the flight.

Medium pale orangey red - initially tangy red berry nose faded to a more complex but more muted forest floor and mushroomy aroma - palate is showing age, winey, but maybe just slightly over the hill, lacking some fruit that was there upon opening - good length - based on this bottle, I'd drink any others soon - 90/3*/Mmm/16.50.

I love Eyrie's wines. One of the best domestic pinot noirs I have ever had was Eyrie's 2001 Daphne Vineyard. Unfortunately, however, this wine is simply past prime.

Ruby red color. Aromas of sous bois, tart cherry, cranberry, and spice. On the palate, this is savory, showing mushroom broth, tart cherry, spice, rhubarb, and a bit of sous bois. Gains weight in the glass. Good now. Will hold.

Started very muted/thin but improved considerably with air
