  • Lovely deep red colour. Nose is quite complex with some secondary cigar box and spice notes. On the palate, this really sings. Lovely soft and fine grained tannins, beautiful balance and great length. Once again there is the cigar box coming through the primary Cabernet fruit flavours. Will keep on going for some years to come. Really classy wine.

  • A slightly herbal, but mostly blackcurrant nose; nicely fruity and not especially aged yet. There's a new world wuality to this but it avoids overt sweetness on the medium length finish. Has medium tannins and a medium body. Wants a bit more time to soften out and lose a bit of obvious fruit, but it's never going to be profound. So, probably fair value-for-money!
