At Clos du Val this afternoon, disappointing after the 2012 regular Cabernet, dark fruit, bell pepper, and spice, more of the same on the palate, tasty but simple, bell pepper shows a lot today, subdued fruit, medium/big body, long finish

At Clos du Val this morning, bell pepper, black cherry, sweet/sour fruit on the nose, more of the same on the palate, medium/big body, tasty but simple and subdued, needs time in the cellar, long finish, at $120 winery retail I will pass on it.

At Clos du Val today, nose of cherry fruit, more of the same on the palate, shows good acid for ageing, medium/big body, tasty but simple reflecting the 2011 vintage, needs three years to peak, and a long finish, at $120 winery retail it will be a tough sale.
