Popped and poured. Aromas of soy sauce, Asian five spice, a little liquorice, blackcurrant, sweet spice, leather, earth are all underpinned by meaty, minty and red currant notes. Sourly juicy with tangy red and blackcurrant fruit, drying, talc textured burr, chalky minerality, a little leather, nice and a bit in the wetly dilute space...

Supper matches (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Red and blackcurrant, leather, Autumn leaves, wet earth, a little Asian five spice and a smidge of soy. Juicy, surprisingly freshly fruity, tannins are talc textured and last longer than the fruit on the finish though the tertiary notes of leather, slight mushroom and some subtle soy replace the fruit. It's not dried out though, rather nice.

Farbe Nase ziegelrot, schon etwas bräunlich. Nase (mit etwas Kork?) typisch Bordeaux (Moder, Stall), im Mund etwas unrund (l. agressiv), wenig Frucht. Spätestens jetzt trinken!
