Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Bottle from auction. The cork was slightly depressed and some signs of old seepage. Cork removed intact and decanted. I was initially afraid this was corked (on the nose), but on the palate, there were no obvious flaws; there was some funkiness which blew-off. The wine had remnants of ripe and round fruit - but without enough substance for the long-haul. Certainly drinkable and always fun to try early efforts from now-famous winemakers.
