A: Deep ruby with purple highlights N: Pronounced nose of red currant, raspberry, cranberry, rich red plum, red bell pepper, capsicum, some black plum, baking spice, chocolate, graphite, wet earth, mushroom, leather P: Dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium grainy tannins (well integrated), medium body, pronounced intensity and long finish This is a concentrated wine with the beautiful acidity to balance it. The red fruit and earth are driven into a long finish, The powerful aromas and flavors express ripe Cabernet Franc showing excellent typicity. This is suitable for ageing. There are already tertiary notes of leather and wet leaves and mushroom which would strengthen with time

Pop and pour. Full dark-ruby color with bright tones and clear edges. Lively aromatics of smoked blackberry and black raspberry with exotic tea, mushroom, turned soil, saddle leather, white pepper and paprika. Fresh and savory on the palate, with open expressive black fruits and well-integrated secondary earth/soil notes along with fresh herbs like rosemary, and continued notes of tea and leather. Medium bodied, refined and round, ample well-framed acidity and finely resolved tannins, finishing with juicy succulent length. In a great place.

A great, rich, spot-on, French cab franc. Throws some sediment so I decanted. Just the perfect, slightest hint of funk. An ideal balance between fruit and acidity. Now through 2019.
