A two-hour decant was right for this wine. Medium body, with dark fruit, leather, and tobacco. What this wine lacks in complexity it makes up for in depth. Well-balanced and satisfying. Probably at its peak, though there's no rush to drink it either. Paired well with roast leg of lamb with rosemary and garlic. Good value Bordeaux at $30.

Decanted for about an hour. No bricking around the edges. Some people noted olives on the nose. On the palette, it was quite nice.....tannins seem to be fully integrated, there were some dark fruit notes and medium body.

I enjoyed this bottle undecanted, with a baked potato, macaroni and cheese, sauteed green bean and mushrooms. Still very much in it's prime drinking window. What an unbelievable bottle at this price point.

popped and poured and I thought OMG! there's no way this wine will be drinking for 8 hours. After an all-day decant, this wine opens up to be smooth and delicious. The nose is lightly herbaceous, but mostly flower shop and some bakery notes, it's nice. The palate is big and bold, and drinkable after a seriously long decant, with black cherry, cassis, acerbic cherry, graphite, and hint of Hershey syrup. It's just so good. IMHO, you can drink this now, but temperature control decant all day or wish you had.

Unbelievably, not ready to drink yet. It's still filled with graphite and black cherry skin tannin. Cedar on the nose and finish. It's been breathing for an hour and it's still tight.
