Mittleres Goldgelb.

White and champagne theme: My contribution. An acid bomb, so much lemon fruit that if Mama Lemon dishwashing liquid was a wine, this would be it. Incredible power but still so light in terms of body. My first proper Ganevat and I am not sure what to think of it.

A bit tough this bottle, its just lemonad acidity for days. Doesn’t open up much over the night or until the next evening, but adds a bit of red apple and baking soda, and on both days there is a chalky minerality there. Lacking that extra oumph I am used to getting from Ganevat.

Blind tasting for my guests. Nice golden hue, turning to autumn. Flavors of guava, old apples, baked pine apples, but also roots rhubarb and match stick. Fresh polished and specific. Mature elegant with its natural style. Has a little his peak. still excellent and long. And genuis shot for the poor 2013.

Birthday bash tasting (Convivial - Washington, DC): This stuff rocked me. So pretty, such tension. There's a ton of textural richness but the acidity is so clean and bright. Gorgeous lemon curd laced with saline, minerals, herbs. I knew this was going to be good, but this was a shockingly gnarly wine.
