  • Stelvin closure:
Pop and por Drunk over several hours.
Limpid golden in color. A stony nose with tarragon, green pea, grapefruit pith, and cooling herbal notes. On the palate, to steal a term from Jeremy, this is about geologic matter. Fresh, lithe and detailed. Texturally like something in between a Saar kabinett and a fresh styled Muscadet. Filigree fine and focused. Many would call the austere, but I love its detail and restraint. Focused yet mulitfaceted, but there are no sharp edges. Everything is really well balanced in context of the vintage. Lovely, graceful wine. At peak with time in hand, that said I can't really think of a reason other than academic ones to hold.

  • Stelvin closure. Pop and pour, Drunk over a few hours.

limpid golden in color with a fresh nose of stones, grapefruit pith, green pea, florals, and cooling green herbs. Light weighted and gossamer on the palate. To steal a term from Jeremy, a wine more about geologic matter than fruit. This has a lightness and weightlessness that I love. More stone, citrus pith, fresh pea, green apple, and tarragon on the palate delivered with filigree fine detail and bright acidity. It comes across as chiseled and stony for me, but some might call it austere. Texturally akin to an Egon Muller kabinett in a cooler year. Finishes with great cut and a mouthwateringly more-ish feel. Hedonists run away with great speed. Speaking for me, I'll have another glass right now. At peak with time in hand.
