Now golden. Needed a little airing to get going, then loads of interest. Citrus still but mixed in with more tropical fruits, lychee, pineapple perhaps. Plenty decent acidity, medium length. Quite rich. Plus that aged Riesling thing, not petrol exactly here but something a bit medicinal. Held up well but seemed to lose its voluptuous aspects over the course of the evening.

Very tasty, nicely mineral and savory. It could use a little more acid, but with a hard chill (e.g. 50 degrees, just below cellar temp) it gets a bit more electric and still has plenty of richness to shine through. So give it a little chill and enjoy.

This has gone soft, in fact it always was a little too soft. Nice clear noble fruit, but not enough backbone or acid. A pleasant drink, but not great. Drink up.

White gold. Nose of white flowers, alpine air, peach pit, schist, and flint. Lychee, pure peach, apricot, mineral spine on the palate. Quite sweet for a Kabinett but not cloying. Copious acidity. Longer finish of tropical clear fruit and stone. Young but just beginning a long evolution.
