  • Not good. Tastes old.

  • This 11 is an outlier compared to other vintages of this wine. But that's not a bad thing at all. I get a more smoked black cherry and roasted tannin out of other vintages, but this is definitely more muddled red fruit. Nose and palate of clove, dill, cedar, green pepper and green olive on top of a brambly black cherry core. Definitely different and not really a turn off at all (although it would be to your "Napacab" crowd). This wine improved with 45 minutes in the decanter, and after 2 hours, it was gone! Definitely can see the "lazy" fruit influence that this one had on this wine, but it made for a really crazy, complex and very atypical offering! Glad I pulled this one now, as it probably is ready to go compared to the 10 and 12 which are still probably VERY MUCH asleep by comparison.

  • Complex medium to full bodied red. Would never guess straight Cabernet Sauvignon. Gorgeous bouquet and finesse like an elegant lady

  • Tasted in Napa with the vintners. A much more lean wine that last 2 years, typical for the vintage.

Dark red fruits, some earth and cedar. Mid palate is light, medium finish.

Would drink over next few years, doesn't seem to have aging potential of other vintages of this wine
