Probably should have opened this one earlier lol. Tawny brick colored. Touch of acetic acid on opening but blew off in 15 minutes. Faint nose of prunes. HAs gone over the hill in an unusual way, palate is not objectionable, but tastes like a semi-sweet sherry. I am just going to pour the rest in my port barrel. Not fair to give it a rating now, but thought some might like the note if you have a bottle lying around.

Lush, modern-styled wine with plenty of ripe fruit flavor, dusty tannins, rich mouthfeel and a zingy peppery finish. Ifr it wasn’t for the overt heat on the nose and finish, this would be a fun little qpr. I’d definitely try other vintages.

Definite cola, or even Dr. Pepper flavor, according to Ann. She thinks @ $8.50 excellent QPR. Its OK, but a pretty simple wine, fairly one dimensional. Can taste the grenache, decent body, somewhat tannic, and that's about it.

$8.09 as a Wine Steward club wine, 14.5%. Smells like a vodka infused with rotten strawberries. Charry, hot, some grossly overripe fruit peeking through, mouth-contortingly harsh. Poor.
Update two days later: Harshness has receded to the point of drinkability, but still nothing pleasant. I believe this is the first Kysela wine that I haven't at least liked. Fair.
