A bit more savory and oxidative than the LC13, and certainly less spicy and vivacious than the LC17 I had not too long ago, this LC14 is a comparative belly-showing Labrador once it gets a bit of O2 in its lungs. I suspect its peak is inside the next few years, with grilled lemon, olive oil, light red berry, and limestone notes notably balanced throughout the cadence of the execution. Not a ton of nerve, but there is enough tension here to keep everything in perfect place. Gains a spicy ginger note after an hour or so that adds points. Drink now or hold for a few more years.

blind I guessed BdN. Pleasant reluctant red berries without any annoying chocoloate or forrest ground notes. Close to his peak but at least 3-5 more years. 93

Sushi Lunch (Hatsu): Still very youthful with some tertiary notes, red apple, strawberry mushroom, full of red fruits on the palate, rounded, high acid, dense with persistent finish. Oxidative notes emerge as it is sits in the glass. Could age for easily another 5-10 years.
