Year end Champagne lunch (Singapore): All wines tasted blind. A rare bird, small production, very different to the prestige blends we just had in the middle flight. The palate is strict and racy, a touch oxidative but not overly so. Very dry, fine perlage. Like Selosse, not a beginner's Champagne. Definitely with food and not apero.

Clearly shows its age and evolution. Light effervescence, oxidative notes along honey and spice notes. Not my fave vintage but pleasurable with food.

Excellent Champagne, bulle fine, encore très vif, un grand plaisir.
