Great nose here with the reductiveness and flinty/gunpowdery oak that I associate with LLM and then it is starting to develop the signature dried red roses perfume I hope to find in great red Burgundies. Plenty of red fruits mingle in between and actually keeps the oak almost hidden, even if I happen to mention it first in this note. On the palate it displays crunchy red fruits but unfortunately comes across as a little ‘underfuited’ and tart. Hopefully, it is just too young, as those below me think. It is for sure not fully developed yet. I am unfortunately not entirely convinced this will ever be really charming. The nose is though! 92+ and fingers crossed

No proper notes - kirch, oak, smoke, light red berries, hint of liquorice/anis, some spice like clove, long finish, medium+ complex, solid concentration and well balanced. Needs alot of time or alot of air. 2025 - 2040, outstanding quality, 92-94p

Going back to chambolle baudes we now get orange, like it's become cooler.
Planted on a very hard rock, clos saint denis is different it's crazy.
1 meter from combottes.
And man does that have beautiful depth. And hardness. Spicy fruit sweet exotic acidic floral but a harmony. It's the same thing all the way through the taste. Grand cru is a complicated book to read. E piece of ston in the mouth is what you have in your mouth.
