Intense nose of fresh and dry rose petals, rose water, red cherry, minerality, green herbs, and cloves.
On the palate a delicious mineral character supported by red berries, followed by warm baking spices.
Medium alcohol, medium body, medium+ acidity. Fine, elegant but structured tannins add to the body. Continued to improve in the glass. This will be singing in 10 years.

FWSG 2018 red burg mini horizontal. Drank in Conterno Sensory. Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of brown sugar, sweet spices, dark red cherries, ripe strawberries, red plum, bit of animal meat. Developing. On the palate, dry, sufficiently high acidity, medium+ alcohol, fine smooth medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of red berries, sweet red cherries, ripe strawberries, coiled tensile vein of stony minerality. Lovely balance. Very long finish. Very good quality. Just needs a few more years probably, maybe max 8+. Feels like it won't really get any better more than that.

Pale ruby with pink hue. Lean, elegant, yet fairly intense of the floral and red cherry fruits, as well as fresh cloves, cinnamon and mint. Great balance, and quite a lengthy finish

Barrel tasting at Lucien le Moine with Mounir (Beuane): Big and denser than the Chambolle 1er trio. The nose is full of meaty black cherry. The palate is rich with clear Grand Cru concentration with unending amounts of black cherry. Plenty of freshness and structural balance. Long stony / mineral finish. Impressive. 93-95
