Tropical fruit flavors with zingy acidity. Hint of petrol that blew off after the bottle had been open for a while. Not the most complex, but at the $18 I paid for this, it is a steal. Not showing many aged characteristics yet, I think this will stay drinking well for another couple decades.

Palish lemon gold with a slight green tinge. Green apples, honey and lime on the nose, along with a bit of green melon. No petrolly notes in this bottle. On the palate, a Kab to sigh with pleasure at. Crisp green fruit, a touch of peachy sweetness, but perfectly balanced by the acidity. Just delicious.

Lemon-straw colour, maybe with a bit more of a green tinge than previous bottles. Proper Kab nose: green apples, lime and the slate & petrol minerality is much more evident than in previous bottles. Glorious palate. Bright and open, crisp appley fruit, a ripe, sweet peachiness. That initial feeling of sweetness is quickly balanced and put firmly into its place by the excellent acidity. Lovely stuff and only 7.5% abv.

Crisp limey apples on the nose, but with notably more minerality than previous bottles: wet slate with a bit of petrol spilled on it. Simply glorious in the mouth. Crisp, green apples and refreshing acidity. Huge length. Very fresh.
