This was good. All the classic Barolo characters are present with rose petals all over this. Needs extended aeration which we didn’t provide so no score for this. Very good wine though.

Medium brick red. Slow ox for 3 hours. Drank over 3 hours. Air is needed. Still seems young. Lots of fruit, not as complex as hoped. Medium to long finish.

93+ this really needs 2 hours to shine in the palate. Nose is bright and vibrant from the outset but the pleasure that you only get from the Nebbiolo grape really hits its stride after 2 hours or so. Subtle and grippy at the same time it pulls you and entices you with the bouquet. Really great stuff from a top notch producer from a not as memorable vintage.

Brick colour with a powerful and expressive nose of mushrooms, flowers and some earth. The wine got better with air (~3+ hours) but was missing some of the complexity that I wanted (and expected) from this.
Would be curious to try this beside a Sperrs Barolo from the same vintage as the Dagromis vineyard is just next door.

- Brick color with fast forming legs. It's balanced and has flavours of black currant, blackberry and chocolate with a medium body. Fleshy texture with a medium finish - A wonderful nose on this wine. Still slightly tannic. Has a few more years.
