PnP. Nose is very floral but fruit is quite present too with cherries, blackberries dominating, and tones of underbrush, rosemary, allspice. Palate is medium bodied, smooth with rounded tannins and pronounced acidity, black and red fruits interlaced with spices and finishing long. Excellent CnP and will only get better with age

Decanted 2 hr. Light ruby, long legs, on 👃 very earthy — peppercorn, graphite, leather, dry forest , dry leaves in the Fall, rose petals — with tart raspberries, cherries. Dry, nice milky structure, medium to strong frontal tannins, very acidic. Throat burning cherry finish. Beautiful to drink by itself now.

This was my first Roger Sabon CNP and was very impressed. It's was more complex that other CNP that i have had. The black cherries didn't overpower the floral notes. The wet stone take sat well

The floral notes really come out at the start, quickly followed by cherry liqueur and black pepper scents. Fresh, supple, medium bodied and silky, there is more than enough going here to make this a contender for the best wine of the vintage.
