  2nd of 13. Boy, I'm glad I loaded up on this. For an entry level Barbaresco, this is delicious. It shows hardly any age compared to my first bottle 3 years ago. The nose is perhaps more open and the tannins a bit more resolved, but still needing time to unwind. If I'm being picky, it's a bit hot on the finish (14%, so less abv than some others...) and the fruit doesn't hit you in waves, but it's delicious and in a great spot now assuming you don't mind some tannins. Drink now through 2035 or so.

  My first barbaresco! The smell brought me back to being 4 and sticking my nose in my mother’s wine glass- perfect. I have always loved the smell of bitter alcohol. It’s so earthy and mildly cherry-y? And it stings real nicely. Meant to only have a glass but here I am with nearly the whole thing finished! Oh well. Such is life. Good thing I have the day off tomorrow. Should’ve bought 2!

  Smashing bottle in the light and delicate style. Sometimes Nebbiolo lacks fruit and florals and comes across as somewhat anemic with only acid and tannin - not here. Not by a long shot. Candidate value of the year. Stock up.
