  this was quite good, needed a couple of hours to come together and even better the next day. medium tannins but well integrated with decent size fruit, cherry. Alcohol is still up there. could go another 5 years

  Blackberry, cassis, vanilla, tobacco, black pepper. Medium-full body. Medium acidity & tannins. Fragrant. Medium-long finish. Went well with tacos. Wouldn’t count on further improvement, but no rush either.

  This needs about 45 minutes to an hour after opening so it can breath. It was somewhat austere for awhile before it unfolded nicely. After that, it was yummy!

  Wish I had more of this. Bought it last year at the winery when visiting Napa. Let it open for about 3 hours before drinking with some top sirloin steaks. Needed the time so let it open. After it did - What a great Syrah!
