Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • High fill & cork in good shape. Still bright cerise. Blank for the first hour, subsequently quite an austere, medicinal nose, dried herbs, dried costal heathland in summer, a hint of charcuterie, earth and leather. No fruit other than a touch of rose hip, leather, liquorice, mint, somewhat earthy. No hint of sweetness, dry as a bone. Structurally resolved. Probably more in the realm of academic interest than something to wow your buddies, but I found some pleasure here. Several hours slow ox for my next bottle I think.
