Visiting London, Galway, Dublin and Paris; 9/14/2019-9/29/2019 (England, Ireland and France): Pure cherry flavors are front and center on this medium ruby Pinot. Accented with notes of clove, coriander, rose petals and black tea, it is a light-to-medium-bodied, freshly acidic wine with nicely integrated alcohol (13%) and oak. The tannins are light-to-medium in weight but are a bit grippy on the mid-palate and medium-length finish. Despite the modest astringency of the tannins, this is quite enjoyable. Popping a cork at the present time is definitely not contraindicated. Drink now-2024.
