  Un vin incroyablement doux en bouche.
  
  Le nez est très équilibré, très fruité, légèrement boisé et fumé.
  
  Mûres, Fruits sauvages, café?.
  
  En Carafe pendant 3 heures, il s'est bien ouvert sans trop de réserve.
  
  J'aurais aimé une plus grande complexité.
  
  Ma meilleure coupe de vin à date.

  Third in a series of 2010 vintages, each showing so remarkably different from one another.. the other two being the St Emilion and Pessac-Leognan too.
  
  This Barolo was either slightly marred by storage irregularities from the seller (I shall not name you!), or was just not quite ready. Some thinness to the structure and bro HS reminded that later in the evening there were even soy sauce notes!
  
  Muted nose but some cherry came through, then came a thinnish red fruit on palate and mild creamy vanilla finish.

  Fontanafredda 160th Anniversary Collection.
  
  Oh, this menthol and eucalyptus oil notes. Strawberry. Touch of colour paint. Sandy tannins are ripe. Nose is great.
  It is surprisingly accessible and already showing how good it is. Should be laid down to gain more complexity on the palate. Huge potential ahead.
  
  Another great vintage. 2010 had long, cool growing season.
