Third of three, this was singing tonight. I might have given it another point, my last rating was 93, but I think 94 is a bit high. Still, a wonderfully resolved Barbaresco, good acidity, plenty of fruit left. Paired with mushroom ravioli, wonderful.

Our second bottle, opened the first one about a year ago. Popped and poured with veal Marsala. This was smooth right out of the bottle, with a nice nose that grew in power as it took on air in the glass. Woodsy, some forest floor in with cherries and red fruit on the palate. Loved it.

Coming into its own now. Still needs an hour in the decanter but this is good stuff for $28. Cherry, leather, a little forest floor. Great acids for our Penne al Sugo pasta tonight. My guess is this will get better and better over the coming 2-3 years.

My 2nd bottle of these, and I found them both very enjoyable. Red fruited, with spice and earth. Wonderful with food!

Relatively light in body, but a smooth offering and not at all an unpleasant wine. Would be a nice accompaniment to a nice pasta source. .
