Nose is definite ripe, almost raisiny but not in a bad way. Concentrated notes of rosemary and vanilla cherry jam. Palate is equally rich with more vanilla, ripe raspberries, strawberry jam but a nice acidity to cut it all. Actually very well balanced and therefore enjoyable despite being *very* California Cab. Maybe not going to change your life but could be a pretty great BBQ wine.

$13 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon '14 Robert Hall. Mid-dark garnet; plum, prune, blackberry nose; mid-body; decent tannins; some varietal style; long semi-chewy, fruity finish; a little hot (14.5 alc.). Good picnic, party, burger, BBQ red.

Seco.
