Pnp. Quite different from the previous vieilles vignes: this 2015 is so dark with concentrated fruits, very ripe and still juicy. No tannins here, the structure is made with a good acidity and a and big core of red and black colors, pencil and cherry stone. Nice expression of gamay, in between carignan and pinot ! Of course without any oak, that's the old world LA's surfers !

Our last bottle of this, and one that has been quite good to us. While not unscathed by the vintage, it was suitably handled. Briary fruit with flowers and herbs and a spicey sense of the forest. Has been drinking well since about 6 months after release and should continue for another 5 years if you are of a mind to hold it.

Craft Wine+Beer tasting 3 (Reno): Nice garnet. Forest floor, dried sour cherries, smoked cranberries, sweet pipe tobacco. Palate is nice with more bright red fruit. Had a bit of body; tastes more like an off Pinot, which is not a bad thing.

Fresh bubble gum pack, mixed berries, big nose of fresh fruit, black pepper. Dusty cherry palate, nice stemmy structure, blood orange finish. Nice example, showing the ripeness of 15
