Decanted for 1 hour before pouring the the first glass. Dark garnet in color, notes of blackberry, chocolate, and spice on the nose. Medium-bodied and almost unnoticeable tannins with blackberry, cinnamon spice, and chocolate on the palate.

Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of chocolate covered cherries, cocoa powder, a dash of blueberries and a mix of berries. Flavors of Bing cherries, berries and a bit of blueberry on the medium finish. Medium acidity, medium tannins, medium to full bodied. Drink now.

Still young. Has not integrated its oak and tannins, but the dark red fruit it still strong, so there's hope for the future. Laying down some serious sediment, but still needs more time. May turn out to be a great p/q, but I'll wait a few years and see.
