Very dry, bordering on austere. Crisp and fresh, quite linear, with citrus and mineral flavors. As it sat in the glass, it developed additional complexity, showing ginger and quince flavors. I recommend drinking this on the warmer side, and consider decanting.

Two years since my last tasting note on this wine. In a perfect place right now, with an enveloping mouthfeel coupled with just the right amount of vivacity to keep everything moving right along through the gratifying finish. A very nice example of 100% PM. For my palate, this is worth consuming now and over the next few years to maintain freshness. A highly gulpable specimen and a great vintage for the Vignes d'Autrefois.

Disgorged 1/16, 2-4 g/L dosage. Opened at noon, drank a glass, recorked, drank the rest at dinner several hours later. At first, dominated by oxidative salty nut and caramel notes with good crispness. After aeration, the oxidation fades and red the fruit comes out more, with a nice mineral underpining. I am not generally a huge fan of Meunier-based champagnes but I like this. Not a ton of structure or depth though, I don't see this being a long ager.
