  • Initially the finish was a little bit funky, but on day two this was very good. Excellent purity. Should hold for a while longer. Not quite as good as a couple of other Cal cabs I've had recently from the same era, but a pleasure to drink.

  • Nose was pretty, almost floral. Very clear and bright, touch of wood, cherry notes.
Palate was light and a touch earthy but w/ ample life. Total integration. Finishes with vibrant acidity.
Touch of the sweetness that comes from age. Long finish.
    Gorgeous wine.
Turned to melted candy and black licorice.
    Sick, sick wine.

  • Off the wine by the glass list at Bern's. Had this along side a 73 Louis Martini and 78 BV. The Inglenook was my favorite wine. Still very lively and not showing visually its age. On the palate still lots of fruit and this was very well balanced. Surprised me how well this did.
