This bottle was in solid shape with shockingly minimal bricking and a lovely palate of dark fruit, old leaves, tea and other secondary/tertiary flavors. It was unfortunately unable to hold its own against a 78 Montebello on the table but it is a very pretty example of mature California Cabernet.

No complaints here. Obviously well stored though the cork wasn’t saturated very much. Old school Napa Cab with age so slight bricking. Time to drink and I doubt it will improve though enough acid to last another five years.

With MPL at Singer & Foy's "Legends of California." Medium-dark ruby. Nice fragrance, a bit shy. On the palate, still tannic but good weight and balance. 5-11-14-6: 86/100.
