Very similar to the last bottle. Curious combo of lean austere chardonnay nose juxtaposed by a more tropical fruit sweetness on the mid palate, with a little spice, medium body, medium + acidity. I don't think it's the oak, but probably just the fruit which is more ripe than what my experience with the Charles Heintz and the Tributary chardonnay.

Not as crisp as some of the other chards from Littorai I tried from previous vintages, but the acidity is still adequate. And the yellow apple and gooseberry spice that curls up on the palate is refined, no doubt about it. excellent stuff but not for the long haul I guess.

Butter bomb. I'm not sure this wine is supposed to taste like this, but it is lean and buttery, an odd combination. Acid is searing, and I'm hoping it pairs better with dinner than the preamble.

Littorai Release Party (Littorai, Sonoma): Similar to the Tributary. Lean, reductive style of New World Chardonnay. Slight struck match and flint (noble reduction), slight impression of spice from oak (~20% new or less), and strong med+ acid. The fruit is a bit reticent. Alcohol is very modest (I believe around 13.5%). The midpalate seems a bit riper and lower in acid than the Heintz.
