Others have said it eloquently in prior notes. This is a burgundian effort with a touch of new world flair. Delicious now, interesting to hold for 10 yrs and revisit.

The two most textual notes below describe this very well. We found this integrated, beautifully balanced, with excellent acid backbone. (At Café Beaujolais, over two dramatically rainy nights.)

PnP. Pale greenish gold. Nose of orchard fruits and citrus. Quite Chablis like with a saline quality on the palate and high acidity. This is quite tight and will likely benefit with further aging. But all the components are there for further development.

Drank over 2 days. This is well-made Sonoma chard that is utterly Burgundian in style with salty mineral notes and well integrated, self-effacing wood. The fruit does not feel over-ripe at all, but does is more tropical in character showing elements of banana and peach which cover base notes of lime. Great floral aromatics add to the olfactory appeal that only intensified on the second day. Lots of underlying acidity that cuts through the creamy, almost oily texture mid-palate and leaves you with lack of balance. Having said that, on day 2 the palate came across more smooth and harmonious. Best to cellar another year or two or alternative venture a 1h decant before serving.

PnP. Light greenish gold. Complex airy nose of citrus and herbs. Lovely goes down like water texture. Drinking very well at age 7.
