Had at the Kittle House. Color farly golden consistent with age. Some caramel, toasted marshmallow on the nose which carries through to the palate. Agree with some nutty notes. Oak present but not a major player. Decent acidity. Very nice example of what a good California Chardonnay can be after some bottle age.

Decided that 8 years old was far enough, although have had Littorai Chards up to age 15 that were lovely. Definitely full golden color and rather restrained on the nose upon initial pour' on the palate clean and full-bodied with very good acidity but the fruit to balance it out. Over time developed more depth and complexity, with marzipan?, and a distinct lack of citrus. Very nice wine; at its peak.

Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with Middle Eastern Foods: Nose of sweet lemon pie. Thick but light on its feet with more sweet lemon notes and a touch of straw. Plenty of fruit but I'm guessing this need more time if anything. Very nice.
