Mainly good white Burgs: Had this before but didn't manage to guess this, thought this was a Chassagne since it was quite weighty rather than linear. Didn't outclass its appellation or the wines alongside, compared to the previous time I had this.

Casual White Burgundy (Yang Ming Seafood): Similar impressions to the previous note on this wine on CT. Only wine that I got most of the details right, guessed Puligny from serious maker immediately. Have read that Ramonet 15s are overdone but this was perfect for me. More together than the 2017 which was painfully austere and disjointed.

White Burg village night in the neighbourhood. Tasted semi-blind. 1 hour of air in bottle. Tasted over the next 2 hours. Drank in Zalto Universal. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of honeyed almond nuts, ripe citrus lemon, strong vein of saline minerality, flitting bits of white florals. Developing. On the palate, dry, good high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of wet stones saline minerality, chalky limestone, ripe citrus lemon, sweet smoked almond nut. Long finish. Very good quality. Immediate charm. Balanced. Still some upside potential over the next few years also. I was guessing very good maker Puligny-Montrachet. Probably expensive (has that feel). Hahaha.

More restrained than its Chassagne sibling, the Puligny AOC bottling displays a classic bouquet of peach, white flowers, citrus zest and a subtle framing of new wood. On the palate the wine is glossy and textural on the attack, with good acidity and length. A few years in the cellar are in order here.
